こちらは、ブラジル・サンパウロの日本人街「リベルダーデ」にあった日系商店「明石（AKASHI）」にて扱われていた、手彫りの木製レリーフです。

人物が臼と杵を用いて作業している様子が彫られており、南米やアフリカ系の民俗文化を感じさせるモチーフとなっています。壁掛け用の金具がついており、インテリアやコレクションとしても存在感のある一点物です。

裏面には、ブラジル人作家と思われるサイン（「RILDO」または「PILDO」）があり、民芸作品としての価値も感じられます。

"This is a hand-carved wooden relief that was sold at the ""AKASHI"" Japanese shop in the Japanese town of Liberdade in Sao Paulo, Brazil."

It is engraved with figures working with mortar and pestle, and it is a motif that makes you feel the folk culture of South America and Africa. It has wall-mounted metal fittings, and it has a presence as an interior and collection.
