シンデレラ - Long Cold Nights - Cinderella
1988年セカンド「Long Cold Winter」リリースに伴うUKツアーより、11月17日レスター公演と11月22日ノッティンガム公演をお楽しみ頂けるタイトル。まず商業的にも大成功したファースト・アルバムに続く、この2作目は、ブルース色をより濃く打ち出したもので、いずれもアルバム同様、ブルージーなBad Seamstress Bluesからスタートし、Fallin' Apart At the Seamsへと。そしてファースの曲が4曲続き、その間機材トラブルからギターにノイズがあったりするものの、ノリのある演奏でそれを吹き飛ばしそのまま一気に。なお両日のセットリストも違い、17日はジョニー・ウィンター・ヴァージョンのRock Me Babyと、ツェッペリンのBring It On Homeのカヴァーと、セカンドからのブルース・ナンバーLong Cold Winterが。 そして22日はセカンドからThe Last Mile とバラードのDon't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone) がセットインし、ここでのトム・キーファーのハスキーかつパワフルなヴォーカルは必聴。 なお両日エンディングはストーンズ・ナンバーで締める、ファン必聴のマスト・アイテム。
